SAEDNEWS: The Minister of Roads and Urban Development stated that rebuilding areas damaged in the 12-day war by the Zionist regime is the ministry's top priority, calling for swift reconstruction efforts following debris removal, inspired by the strong public support for "Dear Iran."
According to Saednews on Thursday, Farzaneh Sadegh, Iran’s Minister of Roads and Urban Development, praised the swift and voluntary efforts of the Engineering Organization during the 12-day war launched by the Zionist regime. She highlighted that such crises reveal the deep-rooted identity and civilization of the Iranian people, who stood united and resilient.
She commended engineers for their prompt presence in war-affected areas to carry out critical safety checks, such as inspecting water, electricity, and gas systems. Their efforts symbolized professional ethics and gave reassurance to the public.
Sadegh noted that a crisis management task force was quickly established, and the distribution of essential goods continued smoothly despite challenges. She emphasized the need for precise documentation of war damage to residential, commercial, and government buildings for submission to the Foreign Ministry and international bodies.
She also called for engineering lessons learned during the conflict to be used in improving construction laws and even taught at universities. In conclusion, she expressed gratitude to the engineers, saying their actions are shaping a meaningful chapter in the country’s history.
At the end of the meeting, the head of the Engineering Organization presented the minister with a symbolic helmet and uniform in appreciation of her support.
The report adds that the war began after a Zionist terrorist attack on June 13, 2025, followed by U.S. strikes on Iran's nuclear sites. After 12 days of Iranian retaliation, a ceasefire was declared on June 24, marking a proud end to a war imposed by the enemy and a show of national unity and strength.
