According to Saednews quoting Al Jazeera Qatar, the official statement from the Turkish presidency said that the two leaders discussed bilateral relations and regional issues.

According to the report, the meeting welcomed the ceasefire between Iran and Israel, which was achieved through US mediation.

According to saednews, on June 13, 2025 , the Zionist regime blatantly violated international law and the national sovereignty of the Islamic Republic of Iran by carrying out military attacks on areas in Tehran and other cities, including the country’s nuclear facilities. In this terrorist act, a number of scientists, military personnel, and civilians were martyred.

Following this aggression, the United States also, early Sunday morning (July 1, 2025), joined Israel’s war against Iran by directly attacking the nuclear sites at Fordow, Natanz, and Isfahan. In response, Seyyed Abbas Araghchi, Iran’s Foreign Minister, citing Article 51 of the UN Charter, emphasized that the Islamic Republic of Iran reserves all options to defend its national interests and the security of its people.

The US President claimed on Tuesday that a ceasefire agreement had been reached between Iran and the Zionist regime. The Islamic Republic of Iran stated that it was not the initiator of the war and clarified that if the Israeli regime stops its illegal aggression, Iran does not intend to continue responding.

In this regard, the Supreme National Security Council stated in a declaration that the armed forces of the Islamic Republic of Iran, without trusting the words of the enemies and with fingers on the trigger, are prepared to deliver a decisive and regretful response to any aggressive act by the enemy.
