Tehran MP: Alongside Military Measures, We Are Utilizing Legal Tools in This War

According to Saednews, Rouhollah Izadkhah, in his speech during today’s (Monday, June 23) public session of the Islamic Consultative Assembly, said: The Islamic Revolution was an explosion of light, and today that light is evolving; in terms of ideological coherence, cultural advancement, and human structuring, it has reached the frontiers of a global superpower.

He stated: The global hegemonic system, headed by the Great Satan—the United States—does not fear the Islamic Republic because of nuclear weapons; rather, it fears that we might, through a civilizational struggle and without nuclear arms, present a successful model of independence, freedom, progress, and piety to the world.

He continued: Our martyrs today will be recognized as the martyrs of progress for the nations of the world. Israel’s war with the front line of the Resistance Axis—from Gaza to Lebanon, from Yemen to Iran—is essentially a proxy for the disgraced and barbaric Western civilization.

Izadkhah added: Indeed, the first outcome of this war will be the downfall of the disgraceful Zionist regime. We will end both the war and Israel. The struggle of the Iranian Muslim nation in the past reshaped history, and its current struggle will define the destination of history.

The representative of Tehran in the Parliament emphasized: From this sacred platform, I kiss the powerful hands and arms of the Islamic Republic’s armed forces, the unknown soldiers, and the Basij of the oppressed. But this war is not solely military—it extends to the economic, political, and cultural order in the region and the world, to the point where the Islamic Ummah will stand against all the enemies of God.

He stated: They brought war to the heart of the Middle East; so they should not expect stability and security for oil, energy, maritime trade, or cargo transit to continue for the aggressors. Alongside military measures, we will also employ strategic and legal tools.

Izadkhah concluded: Our diplomacy will also transform to match this new reality. There will no longer be any negotiations with aggressors. Unilateral treaties like the NPT, which fail to guarantee the rights of the Iranian nation, will no longer be valid, and the Islamic Consultative Assembly will determine the course. The era of strategic patience is over—now is the time to renew and empower the global resistance’s nuclear capability.
