SAEDNEWS: In a fiery speech, Iran’s representative of the Supreme Leader in Golestan Province condemned Donald Trump as dangerously unstable, citing U.S. sources that claim the former president lied more than 30,000 times during his term. The cleric dismissed any dialogue with a leader he described as lacking logic and moral balance.
According to Saed News,
Ayatollah Seyed Kazem Nourmofidi, the Supreme Leader’s representative in Golestan Province and Friday Prayer Leader of Gorgan, delivered a pointed critique of former U.S. President Donald Trump, calling him "imbalanced" and "utterly devoid of credibility." Nourmofidi cited American media reports stating that Trump made over 30,000 false or misleading statements during his presidency—a figure that, he claimed, disqualifies him from serious political engagement.
“We cannot negotiate with a president who lacks balance,” Nourmofidi declared. “He has no logic and has brought shame and disgrace to his country on the global stage.”
His remarks came during a broader address condemning recent military actions by both Israel and the United States. Speaking amid the intensifying conflict in Gaza and fresh assaults on Iran, the cleric described the current war as one waged by "morally and mentally unbalanced actors" against a resilient Iranian nation.
He called the humanitarian crisis in Gaza "a historic tragedy" and a "disgrace" for Israel and its Western allies. The brutality, he said, has laid bare their "inherent wickedness" in the eyes of the international community.
Addressing the recent missile strikes on Iran, Nourmofidi asserted that adversaries miscalculated the national response. “They thought they could provoke chaos within Iran,” he said, “but instead they have united the hearts of Iranians both inside and abroad.”
Citing verses from the Quran, the Ayatollah assured his audience that divine support would ultimately ensure Iran’s victory: “God has promised in the Holy Book that He will stand with the believers—and victory will be theirs.”
