Azari Jahromi: Iran’s Operation Created The Necessary Deterrence

Saed News reported that Mohammad-Javad Azari Jahromi, former Minister of Communications and Information Technology, said in an interview with Khabar Foori:

"Negotiations are meaningless right now; negotiations about what? Negotiations have a framework, and this aggression will definitely affect the nature of the talks.

After this Israeli action, the political and field dynamics will not be like before, and the balance will change. But it is still too early to say exactly how it will take shape, as it depends on the balance of power on the ground.

Logically, the Iranian government will adjust its relations according to the actions and behavior of the opposing side and other actors on the scene, and a process of easing tensions will begin — which could eventually lead to withdrawal from the NPT. Ultimately, everything will be shaped according to the balance of power on the ground, which will definitely change the diplomatic atmosphere.

Iran’s operation against this regime was certainly deterrent; it created and will continue to create the necessary deterrence."
