Saed News: The German Foreign Minister claimed that Germany, France, and the UK are ready for immediate negotiations with Iran regarding its nuclear program.
According to Saed News quoting IRNA, Reuters reported citing Johan Wadephul, the German Foreign Minister, who claimed that the three countries are ready for immediate negotiations with Iran aimed at de-escalating tensions in the Middle East.
Wadephul, who was on a trip to the Middle East, claimed he is trying to help ease the conflict between the Israeli regime and Iran.
He also alleged that Tehran has previously failed to take advantage of the opportunity to enter constructive talks.
In the final hours of Saturday, he told the local news network ARD: Germany, along with France and the UK, is ready. We have proposed immediate talks on Iran’s nuclear program and hope they accept this offer.
The German Foreign Minister added: This is also a key prerequisite for achieving peace in this conflict, ensuring that Iran does not pose any threat to the region, to Israel, or to Europe.
According to IRNA, Berlin made this proposal while recently asserting that its country will not accept Iran’s acquisition of nuclear weapons.
The Board of Governors of the International Atomic Energy Agency on Thursday adopted a resolution proposed by the three European countries (UK, France, and Germany) with the support of the US; a resolution in which, without mentioning the extensive cooperation of the Islamic Republic of Iran with the agency, Tehran is accused of non-compliance with safeguard commitments.
