Saed News: The Food and Drug Administration announced that an imported rice with a specific brand, which has been distributed in the market, is not listed among the imported shipments.
According to the society section of Saed News, citing Hamshahri, following reports about the sale of Indian rice with the GTC1211 (Sunland) brand, the Food and Drug Administration announced that, based on inquiries from customs and health systems, such a product with these specifications has not been found in the list of cleared shipments.
The public and consumers were asked to provide essential information, such as the name of the importing company, the health import permit number, the production batch, and a sample of the product along with its label, for further investigation by the Food and Drug Administration. If a violation is confirmed, the necessary legal actions will be taken by the responsible authorities.
Additionally, the Food and Drug Administration has informed the Health Deputy in a letter, requesting follow-up and appropriate action by the relevant bodies.
