SAEDNEWS: Iran’s ambassador to Iraq appreciated the efforts made by the Iraqi government and officials for holding Arbaeen ritual.
Iran’s Ambassador to Iraq Mohammad Kazem Al-e Sadeq has appreciated Iraqi government, people, tribes, and security forces for their successful organization of the Arbaeen ritual.
According to Iraqi media, Al-e Sadeq said Arbaeen showed that the regional nations cannot be divided.
By God’s grace, by following the path of Ashura, oppression and occupation will be removed from the region, he stated.
He also praised the Iranian people for their dignified and orderly participation in the ceremonies and their respect for Iraqi law, calling it a source of pride.
Arbaeen is a mourning ritual observed by Shia Muslims worldwide to mark the 40th day after the martyrdom anniversary of Imam Hussein (AS), the grandson of Prophet Mohammad (PBUH). This year, Arbaeen falls on August 14.
