According to Saed News, the Ibex refers to several species of wild goats (genus Capra) characterized by large, curved horns in males, which are positioned transversely at the front. Found across Eurasia, North Africa, and East Africa, the term "Ibex" originates from Latin, borrowed from Iberian or Aquitanian, similar to the old Spanish word bezerro meaning "bullock," and its modern Spanish equivalent becerro, meaning "yearling." Standing 27 to 43 inches (0.69 to 1.09 meters) tall and weighing between 200 and 270 pounds (91 to 122 kilograms), an ibex can live up to 20 years. Two related species often not referred to as ibex include the Markhor and domestic goats.

The Persian horned viper (Pseudocerastes persicus), a highly venomous member of the viper family, is found in Iran as well as Iraq, Pakistan, Afghanistan, and Oman. In Iran, this snake inhabits sandy, rocky, and shrubland areas across provinces such as Yazd, Khorasan, Kerman, Sistan and Baluchistan, Isfahan, Fars, Semnan, Markazi, Khuzestan, Zanjan, Tehran, Qom, Hormozgan, and Bushehr, including Qeshm Island.

The wildlife world is full of wonders. In this remarkable ecosystem, weaker animals are often eliminated, as nature follows its course of survival of the fittest.

In one astonishing encounter, a wild cat relentlessly slapped a giant python to drive the intimidating reptile away from its den.
