SAEDNEWS: Donald Trump announced positive progress in negotiations with Hamas and regional countries to end the Gaza war, stating that the first phase of the agreement could be finalized by the end of the week if all parties cooperate.
According to the political news service of Saed News, Donald Trump announced that recent negotiations with Hamas and several Arab and Islamic countries regarding the release of hostages and the end of the Gaza war have progressed “very positively and quickly.” He stated that technical teams will meet today in Egypt to finalize the details of the agreement and urged that the first phase be completed by the end of the week. Trump emphasized that timing is crucial, warning that any delay would lead to more widespread bloodshed. He added that if Hamas insists on retaining power in Gaza, it will face “total destruction.”
He also wrote in a post on the social media platform Truth Social: “Israel has agreed to an initial withdrawal line, which we have shown and shared with Hamas. Once Hamas confirms, a ceasefire will be immediately established, the exchange of prisoners and detainees will begin, and by setting the conditions for the next phase of withdrawal, we will move closer to ending this 3,000-year-old tragedy.”
