SAEDNEWS: Iranian tech and start-up companies plan to attend a forum to discuss pathways for expanding their exports to the Eurasian Economic Union.
The Tehran Chamber of Commerce will hold the Fourth Iran-Eurasia Strategic Forum on October 22 in Tehran, under the theme “Trade, Diplomacy and the Emerging Regional Order,” ISTI reports.
The forum will focus on leveraging new technologies and smart strategies to facilitate Iranian companies’ entry into the Eurasian Economic Union (EAEU) market.
The event comes after the implementation of Iran’s free trade agreement with the EAEU, which took effect on May 15, 2025, in accordance with Article 101 of Iran’s Seventh Development Plan.
Organizers said the forum will bring together policymakers, private sector leaders, export-oriented associations, leading companies, academics, and experts to examine practical pathways under the free trade agreement and evaluate potential opportunities and risks for exports and investment.
Discussions will center on two key themes: the application of new technologies in trade and the development of effective strategies for accessing the markets of Russia, Kazakhstan, Armenia, Belarus, and Kyrgyzstan.
