SAEDNEWS: Security analyst Simiyari disclosed in court how the MEK coordinated with foreign intelligence, particularly Mossad, providing sensitive information that contributed to the assassination of Iranian nuclear scientists, including Mohsen Fakhrizadeh.
According to Saed News citing Fars News, During the recent trial of members of the terrorist group MEK (Mujahedin-e Khalq), security expert Simiyari presented new documents and details revealing the group’s connections with Iran’s enemies. The main focus of these revelations was the MEK’s ties to foreign intelligence services, particularly Israel, and their role in planning and executing sabotage and terrorist operations.
Simiyari explained that in the MEK’s Foreign Relations Headquarters, led by Mohammad Seyed-al-Mohaddein in Paris, there exists a list of the group’s “friends,” including intelligence agencies and aligned groups.
On this list, the code name “Doost Aghdasi” appears as a security alias. Investigations indicate that this cover name refers to Israel and the Mossad intelligence service. Whenever “Doost Aghdasi” requested services from the MEK, direct contact was made with Seyed-al-Mohaddein, and requests were promptly executed.
Simiyari further stated that in 2008, the Mossad official responsible for Iran held a meeting with MEK representatives, marking the start of operational and structured collaboration between the two sides. The session included two senior MEK members under aliases “Khosrow” (Bijan Rahimi) and “Mahmoud” (Hadi Roshan-Ravan).
The main topic of the meeting was strategies for regime change in Iran and the collection of sensitive intelligence.
Intelligence Missions and Targeting Nuclear Scientists
Simiyari noted that in subsequent 2008 meetings, Mossad specifically requested detailed information on Iran’s nuclear scientists, including email addresses, travel routes, and contact information.
One month later, the MEK provided Mossad officers with the identification details of Martyr Mohsen Fakhrizadeh, obtained not through direct infiltration of Iran’s security systems, but via phone surveillance, cyber monitoring, and exploiting weak security networks.
From Media Disclosure to Assassination
According to the security expert, this stage marked the beginning of Mossad’s project to assassinate Iran’s nuclear scientists.
A week before Fakhrizadeh’s assassination, Alireza Jafarzadeh (alias “Behnam”) held a press conference in the United States, publishing Fakhrizadeh’s photo and claiming he was developing nuclear weapons. Only a few days later, Mossad agents carried out the operation, resulting in Fakhrizadeh’s death.
Simiyari’s revelations show that the MEK’s model of interaction with Iran’s enemies relies on three main pillars:
Using aliases and code names to protect the identities of supporting intelligence services.
Maintaining direct and structured communication with operational officials of foreign intelligence, particularly Mossad.
Providing field and personal intelligence through collection at informal and vulnerable levels of the system.
