SAEDNEWS: In response to the recent Israeli strikes on Iranian provinces, including Tehran, Khuzestan, and Ilam, President Masoud Pezeshkian has made a statement emphasizing Iran's unwavering commitment to defend its territory.
According to SAEDNEWS, In a message posted on X, Pezeshkian asserted, “Iran’s enemies should know [this] that the warrior nation stands fearlessly in defense of its soil and responds to any act of folly with prudence and intelligence.” He honored those who lost their lives during the attack, expressing his condolences to the victims' families, the Army, and the broader Iranian community for their sacrifices.
Despite prior warnings from Iranian officials to the Israeli government regarding potential military actions, the Israeli regime initiated strikes against multiple military sites in the three designated provinces early Saturday morning. This provocative act was met with strong condemnation from Tehran.
The Iran Air Defense Force reported that Iran's integrated air defense system successfully repelled the Israeli assaults, resulting in only minimal damage to some installations. However, the Iranian Army confirmed the tragic loss of four servicemen during the incident.
