Iran's President Addresses Dutch PM: Missile Operation Aimed at Reducing Tensions

SAEDNEWS: The Iranian president has told Dutch prime minister that Iran's attack on the Zionist regime was a measure to curb the tensions being created by the regime and to establish peace in the region.

According to SAEDNEWS, Iranian President Masoud Pezeshkian spoke with Dutch Prime Minister Dick Schoof over the phone, clarifying that Iran's recent missile operation against Israel was a response to increasing tensions in the region. Pezeshkian emphasized that Iran does not seek war or conflict.

In his conversation, Pezeshkian stated, "We are not looking for war, conflict, and tension." He highlighted Iran's desire to foster peace and strengthen relationships with neighboring countries and others through dialogue and cooperation.

Prime Minister Schoof responded by expressing concern over the ongoing situation in the Middle East. He remarked, "We believe that the Middle East cannot take more tension, and we have urged all parties to avoid escalating conflicts."

Schoof also mentioned that the Netherlands has called on Israel to implement a ceasefire in Gaza as soon as possible and has supported the proposals put forward by the United States.

The Dutch Prime Minister concluded their discussion by noting that their open conversation would be beneficial for future relations between Iran and the Netherlands.
