SAEDNEWS: Iran has warned Zionists against any encroachment on the sacred sanctity of the Al-Aqsa Mosque and the new adventurism of the Zionists in crossing the red lines of the Islamic Ummah.
According to SAEDNEWS, In a fervent response to recent provocations, the Iranian government has issued a strong warning to Israel regarding any potential encroachment on the Al-Aqsa Mosque, a site of immense religious significance in Islam. Iranian Foreign Ministry Spokesperson Nasser Kan'ani condemned what he termed the "adventurism of the Zionists" and accused them of crossing the "red lines of the Islamic Ummah."
On Tuesday, Kan'ani addressed the issue through a post on X (formerly Twitter), stating, "The cabinet of the criminal Zionist regime is trying to implement its malicious plans regarding Al-Aqsa Mosque; to the extent that it shamelessly shouts the evil intention of building a synagogue in Al-Aqsa Mosque." His remarks reflect Iran's longstanding position on the Israeli-Palestinian conflict and its defense of Islamic holy sites.
Kan'ani emphasized that the Islamic Republic of Iran categorically condemns any attempts to undermine the sanctity of the Al-Aqsa Mosque. He warned that the recent Israeli actions are viewed as a provocation not just to Palestinians, but to all Muslims around the world. "Today, Muslims and freedom-seekers of the world are shouting support for Palestine and Al-Aqsa Mosque and the trial of Zionist criminals," he concluded, reiterating Iran's solidarity with the Palestinian cause.
This escalation in rhetoric comes after comments made by Israeli extremist minister Itamar Ben-Gvir, who asserted on Monday that Jews possess the right to pray at the Al-Aqsa Mosque, expressing intentions to build a synagogue at the sensitive site. This marks the first occasion where an Israeli minister has openly addressed the construction of a synagogue within Al-Aqsa, raising concerns of heightened tensions in the already volatile region.
The situation remains fluid, with Iran’s warning adding to the ongoing complexities surrounding the Al-Aqsa Mosque and the broader Israeli-Palestinian conflict. Stakeholders are closely observing developments, as any further actions may lead to significant repercussions both locally and internationally.
