SAEDNEWS: The heads of Iranian and Russian nuclear agencies have met in Vienna, Austria on Monday.
According to SAEDNEWS, The heads of the nuclear agencies from Iran and Russia met in Vienna, Austria, on Monday.
Mohammad Eslami, who leads the Atomic Energy Organization of Iran (AEOI), met with Alexey Likhachev, the Director General of ROSATOM, the Russian nuclear agency. The meeting took place at the Iranian permanent representative office in Austria.
During their discussions, Eslami and Likhachev focused on various topics related to peaceful nuclear cooperation. They specifically talked about the progress of the Bushehr power plant phases two and three, as well as their agreed-upon cooperation schedule.
Eslami is in Austria to participate in the 68th General Conference of the International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA), which runs from September 16 to 20, 2024.
