SAEDNEWS: Chicken steak is a widely beloved dish worldwide and is recognized as an international favorite. As you likely know, steaks are typically made from a single, lean piece of meat, and chicken steak follows the same principle.
A steak is a slice of meat cut from the sirloin of a calf or the breast of a chicken, often served with cooked vegetables, mushroom sauce, and french fries. Chicken steak is a global favorite, known for its delicious taste. Steaks can be either grilled over an open flame or fried in oil. The key to making a juicy and flavorful chicken steak lies in its seasoning. Follow this recipe to marinate and grill the chicken to perfection.
2 cloves of garlic
1 cup of milk
4 large mushrooms
2 tablespoons of butter
1 tablespoon of wheat flour
Salt, black pepper, and thyme to taste
Prepare the Mushrooms: Slice the mushrooms into medium pieces. Heat a suitable pan over high heat and sauté the mushrooms for a couple of minutes until they don't release water. Add 1 tablespoon of butter and continue sautéing until the mushrooms are soft.
Make the Sauce Base: Remove the mushrooms from the pan. Grate the garlic and add it to the pan with the remaining butter. Sauté until the garlic is soft. Add the flour and sauté lightly.
Finish the Sauce: Gradually add the milk to the pan, stirring continuously until it boils and thickens. Add salt, black pepper, and thyme to taste. Finally, return the mushrooms to the sauce and let it thicken completely.
50 grams of butter
2 whole chicken breasts
1/2 teaspoon of garlic powder
Salt and black pepper to taste
Prepare the Chicken: Let the butter soften at room temperature. If the chicken breasts have bones, remove them. Slice the chicken breasts horizontally into 1 cm thick pieces to ensure they don't fall apart during cooking. Place the chicken slices in a plastic bag and use a meat mallet to flatten them evenly without damaging the meat's texture.
Season the Chicken: Sprinkle salt, black pepper, and garlic powder on both sides of the chicken. Brush the chicken with the softened butter. If you have time, let the chicken marinate for 1 hour in a covered container in the refrigerator. Otherwise, cook the chicken immediately.
Grill the Chicken: Heat a pan over medium heat until hot. Place the chicken pieces in the pan and grill until one side is cooked. Flip the chicken gently to cook the other side. Once fully cooked, transfer the chicken steaks to a plate.
Serve: Garnish the chicken steaks with mushroom sauce. Serve with sautéed vegetables, french fries, and mashed potatoes.
Preparation time is approximately 45 minutes, with a cooking and waiting time of about 15 minutes.
Chicken steak can be served for lunch or dinner.
