According to SAEDNEWS, The Lebanese group Hezbollah has carried out missile and artillery attacks on five settlements in the occupied territories. These strikes, targeting northern areas, are reported to be ongoing.
Hezbollah stated that the attacks are in support of the Palestinian people in the Gaza Strip, as well as in response to recent Israeli assaults on southern villages. On September 2, 2024, the group targeted the settlements of ‘Ain Yaaqoub’ and ‘Gatun’ with several Katyusha rockets.
Local news outlets in Israel reported that air raid sirens were activated in the settlements of "Gatun," "Ain Yaaqoub," "Zareit," and "Shumra" in northern areas of the occupied territories. The situation continues to develop as the conflict escalates.
