According to SAEDNEWS, A shooting near a high school in Ohio left one teenager dead and four others injured. The incident occurred around 10:15 p.m. on Friday, shortly after a football game at Euclid High School.
According to Capt. Mitchell Houser from the Euclid police, officers were already in the area managing the crowd when the shooting happened. All five victims, aged between 16 and 17, were taken to local hospitals. Tragically, a 17-year-old boy later died from his injuries, while the others are expected to recover.
Authorities have not released the names of the victims or made any arrests. Capt. Houser noted that this was not considered a "random act of violence" and reassured the public that there was no ongoing threat.
