SAEDNEWS: Hamas’ armed wing has issued new instructions to guards handling captives if Israeli forces approach Gaza detention sites
According to SAEDNEWS, Hamas has issued a serious warning regarding the fate of captives held in Gaza. A spokesman for the group’s armed wing, Abu Obaida, stated that Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu's insistence on releasing prisoners through military means rather than negotiating a deal will likely result in captives being returned to their families in coffins.
Hamas is blaming Netanyahu for the deaths of six captives over the weekend, claiming he rejected a potential ceasefire agreement that could have brought them back alive, according to reports from Al Jazeera.
In response, large protests erupted in Israeli cities on Sunday, marking one of the biggest demonstrations since the start of the conflict. Families of the deceased captives and many others in the public are holding Netanyahu responsible, arguing that a deal with Hamas could have saved their loved ones.
