Aqsa Storm Operation Has Globalized Palestinian Resistance

According to SAEDNEWS, During a solemn commemoration ceremony held at Iran's Foreign Ministry on Tuesday, Ali Bagheri Kani, the interim Iranian Foreign Minister, addressed high-ranking officials and ambassadors from various Islamic countries to honor the legacy of Ismail Haniyeh, the former head of Hamas' political bureau. Haniyeh was tragically assassinated in a Zionist attack in Tehran on July 31, a loss that resonates deeply within the Iranian narrative of resistance against perceived aggression.

In his remarks, Bagheri Kani asserted that the landscape of international dialogue has shifted significantly. He emphasized, “Today, the International Court of Justice (ICJ), the US Congress, the United Nations, and followers of Islam and other religions have acknowledged resistance as a legitimate means of dialogue and the primary solution to ongoing conflicts.” This statement underscores a growing consensus among various entities that resistance is a crucial response to violence and oppression.

He further noted, “The more the crimes of the Zionist regime increase, the more the flame of international resistance will intensify.” This assertion speaks to the enduring belief in the power of collective opposition to address injustices. Bagheri Kani highlighted that the status quo of conflict cannot simply return to previous imbalances, asserting that the West, particularly the United States, must recognize this new reality.

Bagheri Kani did not mince words when discussing the role of the Zionist regime in the region, describing it as a “cancerous tumor” that serves as an extension of American and Western policies. He articulated a vision of a region where the interests of Islamic countries are paramount, contrasting this with what he sees as Western attempts to sow discord and conflict.

The minister pointed to recent legislation passed by the US, which prohibits countries in the region from acquiring arms that could enhance their military capabilities against the Zionist regime, as evidence of the Western commitment to maintaining this contentious balance of power. He argued that such moves illustrate.
