SAEDNEWS: The Saudi man known as the ‘Scorpion Sultan’ swallowed 22 live, venomous scorpions in just 20 seconds.
According to the Social Affairs Desk of Saed News, the first thing that comes to mind when hearing the name “scorpion” is the painful sting of this small arthropod. Interestingly, many people, without ever experiencing a scorpion sting or even knowing much about this small and fascinating creature, instinctively feel fear upon hearing the word “scorpion.”
However, there are some intriguing facts about this arthropod that most people are completely unaware of—and discovering them is sure to capture anyone’s attention. Compared to other animals, arthropods generally have relatively short lifespans, with many insects living only a few weeks or, at most, a few months. Scorpions, however, are among the longest-living arthropods. In the wild, scorpions live between 2 and 10 years, but in captivity, their lifespan can extend up to 25 years.
