SAEDNEWS: Palestinian refugees are being burned alive after their tents were targeted by Zionist terrorists.
According to SAEDNEWS, In a harrowing turn of events, Israeli airstrikes targeted a refugee camp located near al-Aqsa Martyrs Hospital in Deir al-Balah, central Gaza, early Monday morning. The bombings ignited a devastating fire that resulted in the fatalities of at least three individuals and left around 70 others injured, according to the Gaza Health Ministry. Sadly, the death toll is anticipated to rise as rescuers continue to search for survivors among the wreckage.
Videos shared on social media depicted the chaotic aftermath, with residents desperately attempting to extinguish the flames using makeshift means such as blankets and buckets of water. Many of the camp's inhabitants were asleep at the time of the attack, intensifying the tragedy of the situation.
While the Israeli military claimed the strikes were aimed at a “command center” affiliated with the Palestinian resistance movement Hamas, these assertions have been categorically denied by the group. Human rights observers and advocates have raised concerns about the frequent pattern of such justifications being employed to rationalize military actions that predominantly affect civilian populations.
This incident follows another distressing event in which at least 20 individuals, including children, lost their lives during an Israeli strike on a school within the Nuseirat refugee camp, also located in central Gaza. The ongoing conflict has resulted in at least 42,227 Palestinian deaths, predominantly involving women and children, alongside nearly 100,000 injuries since hostilities escalated on October 7, 2023.
Gaza’s Government Media Office has condemned the attacks as the seventh time the hospital area has been bombed since the onset of the conflict. They issued a stark statement holding the Israeli regime and its principal ally, the United States, fully accountable for the massacre and the systematic targeting of civilians and displaced persons. The office called upon the international community to exert pressure on Israel to halt its ongoing acts of violence.
As the situation in Gaza remains critical, the humanitarian implications grow increasingly dire, prompting urgent calls for global action and support for those affected by the relentless conflict.
