This cave is one of the scenic areas of Lavasan and a significant example of Iranian art nestled in the region’s mountains. About 20 years ago, an artist with simple tools excavated and created this cave. The tireless efforts of Master Naser Hosseindoust Vaziri led to the museum becoming an artistic masterpiece.

This museum reflects culture and belongs to Iranian myths. It has come to life using recycled and discarded materials and represents a beautiful blend of art and nature.

Complete Introduction to the Museum:

This private museum was founded in 2005 by a prominent Iranian sculptor and is located within the mountains of Lavasan. The various corridors exhibited in this complex narrate stories from Ferdowsi’s Shahnameh, and many attractions are placed in each section. The museum’s space hosts exhibitions, gatherings, classes, and workshops.

Access to this cave is very easy: from Lavasan, via Imam Khomeini Boulevard and Asadian Street, you reach the Bujan fork, and a little beyond that, you will see the cave.

Visiting the Museum:

The cave and museum are open daily from 9 AM until sunset for tourists and visitors. This scenic and remarkable area with its tourist attractions also draws attention from foreign visitors.

Different Sections of the Museum:

The museum consists of eight interconnected corridors, small rooms, and low ceilings. Inside, you will see extraordinary sculptures designed in modern styles. The sculptures are made from fiberglass, industrial waste, and recycled materials.

“Saray Bastami” is one section of the complex that serves as the cave’s interior space and includes a gallery and sculpture workshops. Sculpture enthusiasts can enter this area. The cave’s interior is built within the mountain and covered with thick concrete.
