If you want to visit this historic structure, which dates back to the 7th and 8th centuries, it's recommended to follow the Aras River route to reach Qarluja village.
During the Safavid era, some reconstruction and restoration work was done on the tower to prevent its destruction. The tower's architecture is octagonal, with each side measuring 1.75 meters.
There is a crypt beneath the tower, which is believed to be the burial site of a wealthy person from the Mongol Ilkhanate.
Currently, only about 5 meters of the tower's height remain. This historical site was registered nationally in 1347 (1970), and you can visit it today.

The wetland covers an area of 15 hectares, and its depth reaches 8 meters. Most of its water comes from the Aras River, and it's important to note that this wetland is semi-natural, with some human intervention.
Among the animal species found in this area are birds like the green duck, greylag goose, spoonbill, little grebe, great cormorant, moorhen, and others.
In the latest report on bird species in this wetland, 10 species were recorded. It is worth mentioning that in 1388 (2009), it was approved by the government as a tourism zone.
