Saed News: Ghazali Film City is located in western Tehran and was built in 1979 with the efforts of Ali Hatami. The main part of the set, including the streets and buildings, reflects the era of Reza Shah and the early reign of Mohammad Reza Shah. It is used for filming movies and series focused on old Tehran.
According to the Family Magazine service of Saad News, Ali Hatami Film and Television City (formerly Ghazali Film City) or Ali Hatami City is a large area located in western Tehran where sets of streets and buildings for Iranian movies and TV series are constructed and maintained. Almost all of the sets in Iran's film city are from the Pahlavi era, but a set for the city of Kufa has also been built here. The sets in this city are replicas of buildings and streets that actually existed in old Tehran. Another notable set in this city is the city of Jerusalem, which has been used in many TV shows and movies. This city, located on Lashkari Highway, was built in 1979 by Iranian director Ali Hatami.
