SAEDNEWS: The mausoleum of Mohammad Mo'in (1297-1350 solar Egira) is located in the city of Astaneh Ashrafieh (Gilan region).
Professor Mo'in is one of the most distinguished contemporary scholars in the fields of science, research, and Persian language and literature. He was also a renowned linguist and the author of the Mo'in Dictionary, and is often regarded as the father of modern Iranian lexicography after Dehkhoda.
According to his will, his tomb is located in the family mausoleum beside the Kheshmat River. The mausoleum, a multi-faceted brick structure with crescent arches and a clay roof, set in a green, wooded environment, serves as a point of reference for lovers of Persian language and literature and is considered a notable cultural attraction.
Professor Mo'in was the first in Iran to earn a doctorate in Persian culture, linguistics, and literature. Among his most important works are The Stars of Nahid, The Tale of Khordad and Mordad, The Wisdom of Enlightenment and Iranian Culture, The Mirror of Alexander, and the Complete Series on Persian Culture. His most famous work remains the six-volume Mo'in Dictionary.
In addition, Professor Mo'in made significant contributions through his corrections and annotations of classical Persian texts and his translations of foreign works into Persian, leaving a lasting legacy in Iranian scholarship.
