Name: Pumpkin Dessert with Grape Molasses and Walnuts

Servings: 6 people
Ingredients:
Pumpkin: 1.5 kilograms
Sugar: 1 cup
Cinnamon stick: 1 small piece
Cloves: 4 pieces
Grape molasses: 1 cup
Walnut kernels: as needed
Instructions:
Cut the pumpkin into small cubes. Then wash it and layer it with sugar in a pot. Place it in the refrigerator for a few hours.
After a few hours, the pumpkin will release water and the sugar will be absorbed by the pumpkin. At this stage, put the pot on the heat and wait for the water to boil. Add cinnamon and cloves to the pumpkin and cook for about 20 minutes until the pumpkin softens.
In the last 5 minutes of cooking, add the grape molasses. Increase the heat slightly so the molasses boils and is absorbed by the pumpkin. Pour the dessert into a serving dish and garnish with walnuts or other nuts.
Note: It’s best to keep the pumpkin and sugar in the refrigerator overnight, but if you don’t have enough time, a few hours will also suffice.
