How to make a no-bake watermelon cheesecake with natural colors; a flavor you'll never forget!

According to the culinary service of Saed News, to make a watermelon cheesecake without the need for an oven and artificial food coloring, you can use natural ingredients like spinach for the green color and strawberries or watermelon juice for the red color. Below is the recipe for this delicious dessert:

Ingredients:

Green layer (cake base):

  • Petit beurre biscuits: 200g

  • Melted butter: 100g

  • Fresh spinach: 100g

Cheese layer:

  • Cream cheese: 400g

  • Whipped cream: 200g

  • Gelatin powder: 2 tbsp

  • Cold water: 1/4 cup

  • Sugar: 100g

  • Vanilla: 1 tsp

  • Fresh strawberries or watermelon juice: 200g

Red layer (gelatin):

  • Strawberry or watermelon jelly: 1 packet

  • Boiling water: 1 cup

  • Cold water: 1/2 cup

  • Chocolate chips for decoration (as watermelon seeds)

Preparation steps:

Green layer preparation:

  1. Steam the spinach with a little water and then blend it to make a smooth puree to get the natural green color.

  2. Crush the biscuits and mix them with melted butter and spinach puree to form a uniform dough.

  3. Press the mixture into the bottom of a springform pan and refrigerate to set.

Cheese layer preparation:

  1. Sprinkle gelatin over cold water and dissolve it in a double boiler.

  2. Beat the cream cheese, sugar, and vanilla together until creamy.

  3. Add the whipped cream and mix.

  4. Add the dissolved gelatin and stir to combine.

  5. Pour half of the cheese mixture onto the green layer in the pan and smooth it out.

Red layer preparation:

  1. Puree the strawberries and strain them to make a smooth mixture.

  2. Add the puree to the remaining cheese mixture and mix well until the red color is natural.

  3. Pour this mixture onto the white cheese layer and smooth it out.

Gelatin preparation:

  1. Dissolve the jelly powder in boiling water, then add the cold water.

  2. After it cools, slowly pour the jelly over the red cheese layer.

Decoration:

  1. Place chocolate chips on top as watermelon seeds.

Final step:

  1. Refrigerate the pan for at least 4 hours to let the dessert set.
