Ingredients for 4 people:

  • Lamb meat: 800 grams

  • Onion: 3 pieces

  • Butter: 100 grams

  • Lavash bread: 3 pieces

  • Salt and black pepper: to taste

  • Oil: 2 tablespoons

Qashqai Kebab Cooking Instructions:

Step 1:
To make delicious Qashqai Kebab, first, cut the meat into pieces similar to those for shashlik kebab. Then, pour 4 cups of water into a suitable pot. Next, chop the onions into quarters and add them with the meat into the pot.

Step 2:
Place the pot over medium heat and allow the water to come to a boil. Once the water boils, skim off the foam on the surface and discard it. This helps remove the undesirable taste of the meat.

Step 3:
After completely removing the foam, add some salt and black pepper, and let the water reduce and absorb into the meat. Once the water has evaporated, remove the pot from the heat.

Step 4:
In this step, place a large pan on heat, then add butter and oil into the pan. Once the butter melts, cut the lavash bread into pieces and sauté it in the butter and oil mixture until it becomes crispy. Set it aside.

Step 5:
Now, add the cooked meat to the pan and sauté it well until it’s fully browned. After the meat is browned, transfer it along with the crispy lavash bread into your serving dish, and serve it with rice.
