Saed News: Some Zionist media outlets have claimed that *Steve Witkoff*, the U.S. representative in negotiations with Iran, has been officially invited to visit Tehran by *Abbas Araghchi*.
According to the political affairs section of Saed News, quoting Tabnak, the Israeli newspaper Israel Hayom has claimed—citing international sources—that Abbas Araghchi, Iran’s foreign minister, invited Steven Witkoff to visit Tehran during negotiations held in Oman.
The outlet alleges that the U.S. Special Representative for Middle East Affairs has not rejected Araghchi’s invitation.
Western media have claimed that a U.S. government official, speaking on condition of anonymity, said Witkoff would likely travel to Tehran if officially invited. However, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Islamic Republic of Iran has not confirmed this matter.
Nevertheless, Abolfazl Zohrevand, a member of Iran’s Parliamentary National Security Commission, stated in an interview with a Tabnak reporter that Witkoff’s visit to Iran would not be problematic under certain conditions. In the interview, he said:
“In my opinion, if Steve Witkoff—Trump’s representative in the negotiations—intends to present an accurate picture of Iran’s capacities and potential to the U.S., his presence in Iran is not an issue. We are not like Yemen, Libya, or other countries where America thinks it can act however it wants.”
Zohrevand emphasized:
“The Islamic Republic of Iran is fundamentally different from those countries in every way. His presence in Iran could correct the false analyses and reports about Iran’s capabilities that have been fed to Trump by enemies and the Zionist regime, and instead present him with a true image of Iran.”
The member of the National Security Commission concluded:
“Not only Witkoff, but anyone who intends to convey a truthful image of Iran’s strength to the world is welcome to visit the country.”
