Jordan and Egypt's Rejection of Trump's proposal / Gaza is not For Sale!

According to Saed News, Abdolreza Faraji Rad, an international affairs analyst, in an interview with Moniban, referred to the motivations behind the U.S. and Israel's idea of relocating the people of Gaza to neighboring countries of the occupied territories. He said: There has been coordination between Trump and Netanyahu to evacuate Gaza. Initially, Israel's goal was to send the people of Gaza, or at least half of them, to the Sinai Desert, but Egypt resisted. However, with Trump's arrival, the courage to pursue this plan has increased. Netanyahu intends to forcefully carry out this plan.

He continued: One of the main reasons for this plan is the vast gas resources found off the coast of Gaza. Trump is seeking opportunities to exploit financial and mineral resources. He wants to relocate the people of Gaza and use the resources of other countries, including Arab nations, to ultimately turn the area into a profitable, touristy region with vast resources under Israeli control.

This geopolitics professor added: Naturally, Netanyahu and Israel are very pleased with Trump's objective. But I don't think countries like Egypt and Jordan will accept this plan or yield to Trump's demands. This plan is likely not feasible, but it will create many problems for the people of Gaza. One of the issues is that Israel will not allow Trump to help with the reconstruction.

Faraji Rad added: The peace plan was supposed to involve Arab countries helping to rebuild Gaza within four to five years. However, they now intend to use the destruction and devastation to forcefully expel the people. They also want to limit the supplies that human rights organizations and international charities send to Gaza, forcing the people to leave. I don't think they will be able to expel the people from Gaza, even with hardship. Some might feel exhausted and believe their children are suffering, so they may leave, but the majority will remain.

In response to the question of whether, with Trump's return to the presidency, we will witness the normalization of relations between Saudi Arabia and Israel, Faraji Rad said: Many believe Trump will continue Jared Kushner's previous efforts to normalize relations between Saudi Arabia and Israel, and this might happen. However, the approach Trump has taken regarding the West Bank and even with U.S. allies, such as Jordan and Egypt, currently doesn't provide the necessary conditions for Saudi Arabia to establish relations with Israel.

Faraji Rad concluded: Jordan receives $1.5 billion, and Egypt receives $4 billion in aid, but both are willing to forgo these aids and disregard Trump's plan. If Palestinians were to relocate to Jordan, the monarchy in Jordan would be at risk, and Egypt faces similar conditions. I don't think the plan Trump is pursuing for Gaza is a supplementary plan for Israeli-Saudi relations; rather, it's a plan that contradicts the Abraham Accord. The people of Gaza will suffer more from this plan of Netanyahu and Trump.
