SAEDNEWS: Member of Parliament Reveals New Dimensions of U.S. Involvement in the 12-Day Sacred Defense
According to the political section of SaedNews, former U.S. President Donald Trump has, for the first time, admitted that Israel’s 12-day war against Iran was conducted under his guidance. Speaking to White House reporters, Trump said, “Israel attacked first. That attack was very, very powerful. I was largely responsible for it.” Previously, Trump had denied any involvement in Israel’s strikes on Iranian territory.
In response, Esmail Kowsari, a member of the Iranian Parliament’s National Security and Foreign Policy Commission, told Fars News Agency: “This was clear from the beginning; there’s nothing in Trump’s recent statements that surprises us.” Paying tribute to the pure souls of martyrs, especially those of the 12-day imposed war, he added, “This war was imposed on our nation by global arrogance, and 21st-century criminals whitewashed the deeds of all criminals in the world.”
Kowsari emphasized that Israel alone is insignificant: “If the U.S., the U.K., France, and Germany had not intervened, Israel would have been finished. Especially after the Al-Aqsa storm on October 7 two years ago, without Western support, Israel would no longer exist.”
The parliamentarian added, “Trump hasn’t said anything new. We knew that the U.S. and its allies provoked Israel to attack us and then supported it. Even on October 7, 2023, they divided responsibilities: Israel was tasked with holding its territory while the Americans provided air support and other backing. The occupying regime cannot act alone.”
He further noted, “During these attacks, NATO and some regional countries also supported Israel. Even the refueling planes in the sky were labeled as Israeli, but in reality, they were operated by Americans.”
Kowsari concluded, “Even during negotiations, these actions were carried out under direct American orders. This is nothing new.”
