SAEDNEWS: Early Thursday, the British Prime Minister claimed that Russia must pay the price for its unjustified invasion of Ukraine.
According to the Politics Service of SaedNews, and the International Desk of Fars News Agency, UK Prime Minister Keir Starmer announced early Thursday that sanctions have been imposed on the Russian Federation.
In a statement, Starmer said, “We have sanctioned two major Russian oil companies, Rosneft and Lukoil, which finance Putin’s war machine.”
According to Reuters, the statement added, “I am pleased that the United States has joined us in imposing significant sanctions on the two Russian oil companies.”
He also emphasized, “Putin must pay the price for his unjustified aggression, and this slaughter must stop immediately.”
