SAEDNEWS: Ali Motahari criticized former U.S. President Donald Trump for reposting his old 2022 interview on nuclear issues, calling it a misuse of personal opinion and urging Trump to compensate Iran instead of fueling civilian casualties in Gaza.
Jamaran reported that Ali Motahari, a former member of the Iranian Parliament, clarified regarding the reposting of his old interview on Donald Trump’s official page:
“Trump has shared my interview from May 2022 on his personal page, at a time when I neither held any position in the nuclear energy field nor was a member of parliament. He has apparently used it as evidence of the Islamic Republic’s decision to build an atomic bomb.
This shows how empty-handed he is, that he would take the personal analysis of an ordinary individual, and not the statement of an official, as proof. It would be better for Trump to think about paying reparations to Iran and to stop killing the people of Gaza with bombs and starvation.”
