SAEDNEWS: Iranian Foreign Minister Araghchi cautioned against attempts to manipulate public perception toward war, emphasizing that while no imminent conflict is expected, readiness remains essential to deterrence.
On Thursday evening, Iranian Foreign Minister Seyed Abbas Araghchi appeared on the TV program Jaryan on Channel One.
According to Saed News citing Tasnim News Agency, he stated: “The possibility of war exists for all countries to varying degrees, but we must be vigilant against our enemies’ efforts to keep us in a war-focused mindset.”
He added: “Without neglecting the armed forces or anyone else regarding the possibility of war, we must be careful about war-mongering and not allow our public opinion to be manipulated.”
Araghchi continued: “Currently, as an international relations expert, I do not perceive an imminent war. Of course, this is my expert opinion, and the armed forces and the government must be prepared for any situation. In fact, readiness for war is the most important factor in preventing war.”
