President Warns: Division Will Leave Iran Vulnerable — Zangazur Corridor Reports Are Overblown

Masoud Pezeshkian, the President of Iran, while attending today’s (Sunday, August 10) Cabinet meeting and greeting journalists in the government courtyard, stated:

“You journalists have truly been excellent messengers, especially during crises, and God willing, this will continue. You can foster unity, cohesion, harmony, and empathy in the country and strive to bridge divides.”

According to Jahan News, he added:

“If we have been able to stand against the Zionists and, in reality, America, with the help of the people, resist, and achieve glory, it is solely due to the presence and support of all the people. If we move forward in cooperation and hand in hand, I am confident we can powerfully advance the rest of the way.”

The President emphasized:

“If we proceed together, I am sure we will be able to powerfully progress along all paths.”

He remarked:

“Human rights and international laws seem to be applied for others, not for us. According to all humane principles and frameworks, what the Zionist regime did, supported by America, is completely incompatible with global laws, yet it still happened. This shows that to survive in this world, we must be strong and united so that they cannot bring us down; because if we are weak or divided, no one will have mercy on us.”

The President continued:

“Today, Mr. Araqchi reported on the Zangazur corridor, and it was decided that they themselves will continue the negotiations. Contrary to what has been exaggerated in the media, all of the Islamic Republic’s previously stated demands on this route have been respected, according to his statements.”

He added:

“One of the issues is the presence of America, but overall it fits within the framework of preserving territorial integrity, establishing communication, and keeping the path open from Iran towards Europe or the north, which fully aligns with the system’s view. The only current concern is that an American company, in cooperation with an Armenian company, intends to implement this route.”
