Introduction To The Seven Ladies Prayer For Opening Luck!

What is the Seven Ladies Prayer?

For the opening of the luck of unmarried girls and boys who intend to marry, reciting prayers, supplications, and the prayers of the Imams is highly effective. Additionally, reciting the Seven Ladies Prayer is very effective for opening luck, and it should be performed by the mother of the girl or boy. One of the most experienced ways recommended for opening luck and facilitating marriage is the "Seven Ladies Prayer." This prayer is a supplication to seven revered ladies for fulfilling one's needs, and it should be recited by the "mothers" to make it easier for their children (daughter or son) to marry.

How to Perform the Seven Ladies Prayer:

The Seven Ladies Prayer is a supplication to the noble women of the heavenly realm, including:

  1. Lady Khadijah

  2. Lady Fatimah

  3. Lady Fatimah bint Asad, the mother of Imam Ali

  4. Lady Umm al-Banin

  5. Lady Zainab

  6. Lady Fatimah Masumah, daughter of Musa ibn Ja'far

  7. Lady Nargis Khatun

For each of these seven noble ladies, recite two rak'ahs of prayer, and after each two rak'ahs, send 100 salawat (blessings). Instead of salawat, you can recite Surah Yasin (once). This Surah has seven "mubeen" (clear) parts, and at the end of each part, raise your hands to the sky and say, "By the right of Lady Khadijah, grant me a good bride or groom." In each part, swear by God to fulfill your request through the right of one of these ladies.

The person praying must intend on behalf of their child. After the Fajr prayer, recite two rak'ahs for each of these ladies, similar to the Fajr prayer, for a total of 14 rak'ahs. After every two rak'ahs, send 100 salawat or recite Surah Yasin once (some sources say both are necessary). In Surah Yasin, the word "mubeen" is repeated seven times, and after each, the worshiper should raise their hands to the sky, invoke the name of one of the ladies, and make a supplication for a good bride or groom.

Conditions for Reciting the Seven Ladies Prayer:

  • The Seven Ladies Prayer is best performed after the Fajr prayer.

  • This prayer must be performed by the mothers for their child's marriage. If the mother is not alive, it should be done by the child's aunt or maternal aunt.

  • It is only permissible to recite this prayer during auspicious times (when the moon is not in the "Qamar fi Aqraab" phase).

  • The prayer should be performed in a fixed place during these auspicious times.

  • It is recommended for the worshiper to wear clean and scented clothing.

  • Start the prayer with "Bismillah al-Rahman al-Rahim," and remember to send salawat to the Prophet and his family at the beginning and end of the prayer. It is stated in the narrations that God accepts the salawat and is too generous to reject the supplications in between.

  • Praise God before making the supplication: "O God, the Merciful, the Compassionate, and the Forgiver, the One who overlooks wrongdoings."

  • Hypocrisy.

  • Bad temperament and inappropriate behavior.
