Saed News: The government spokesperson, stating that we are currently in a imposed war, said: "When we understand that this war has been forced upon us, our response to it will be different."
According to Saed News, Fatemeh Mohajerani, in a televised interview on Monday, June 16, 2025, emphasized:
"National unity and cohesion are our main sources of strength in this imposed war. All of us, regardless of our preferences, beliefs, or affiliations, are on the field for Iran today, committed to transparency and the accurate delivery of information to the people."
Mohajerani stressed that today’s war is a hybrid war, adding:
"Let us be careful not to become a means of spreading information. Avoid forwarding unverified messages, photos, and provocative or false news on social media."
The government spokesperson said:
"One of our strengths today is the calm of the people and national unity. Even those who had grievances have rallied for Iran, and no one is thinking beyond Iran itself. Our full focus is now on Iran—no partisan, factional, or gendered divisions exist; we are all united for the country."
She stressed that the government is obligated to ensure transparency and deliver precise information to the public.
"I advise citizens not to unintentionally become channels of information. Sometimes a simple photo or video can accidentally reveal sensitive details about locations or individuals. Suspicious cases should be reported to the relevant authorities."
The spokesperson further emphasized that people should not gather at incident locations, adding:
"Avoiding crowds helps emergency and relief services like the Red Crescent operate more effectively."
She continued:
"Given that many offices are working remotely, we kindly ask the public to avoid unnecessary outings."
She reported the martyrdom of 45 women and children in recent days due to Zionist regime crimes in the country, adding:
"75 of the injured are also women and children, which exposes the false claims of the Zionist regime about only targeting military sites. Today, this child-killing regime even attacked Farabi Hospital in Kermanshah—further proof of their barbarity."
Regarding safe public spaces, she said:
"Some metro stations remained open last night, and others will be opened today with appropriate arrangements."
Mohajerani also thanked traffic police for their cooperation during travel and expressed appreciation for citizens and civil institutions that have welcomed people from other cities.
She warned:
"Text messages about city evacuations are part of psychological warfare. Please do not pay attention to them. Essential services are fully operational, banks and financial institutions are active, and the stock and capital markets are closed only temporarily to protect public assets until stability returns."
Regarding the internet, Mohajerani announced:
"Due to enemy cyberattacks on IT infrastructure, internet speed has been reduced temporarily to ensure network stability. This slowdown is a defensive measure and not permanent."
She continued:
"We urge all citizens to avoid spreading unconfirmed news, provocative images, or rumors. Social calm and unity are pillars of our strength. Today, we are witnessing national solidarity. I also thank Iranian citizens abroad for their timely and impactful actions."
Mohajerani added:
"Wheat farmers’ payments will begin tomorrow, gradually, in line with wheat deliveries. Payments to pharmacies under the 'Daroyar' plan will also start tomorrow. June salaries will be paid like May, with the differences settled in July salaries."
She mentioned that emergency services and the Red Crescent have received special funding and added:
"Strategic reserves of essential goods are in good condition. Measures are in place to transport goods from ports, and provinces have been given full authority to act."
She added:
"Governors have been empowered to open facilities like schools. Mosques and shrines have already been opened to the public to offer shelter."
Mohajerani announced the establishment of crisis response rooms in the Health Ministry and provinces:
"Our emergency personnel are tireless and working with full force to serve the people. We are all in service to Iran—even at the cost of our lives. We will never forget that this ancient civilization will not be brought to its knees."
According to IRNA, following the barbaric attack by the Zionist regime on Iranian soil, and Iran’s decisive response, the government spokesperson will appear daily at 1 PM on IRIB Channel 1 to provide updates on the latest decisions and actions.
In her earlier appearance, Mohajerani emphasized that:
"The Islamic Republic of Iran has never sought war. We did everything to avoid it. Despite mistrust, we negotiated and were ready for the sixth round of talks—but they left no room for negotiation."
