Vaezi: Israel Was Seeking to Serail the Negotiations; With Their Recent Attack, They Made the Fate of The Talks Uncertain.

Saed News reports that Mahmoud Vaezi, Chief of Staff of the President in the twelfth government and Deputy Secretary-General of the Moderation and Development Party, described Israel’s attack on Iran’s military, scientific, and residential centers as a blatant crime violating all international rules and regulations. He stated: “What happened was a clear aggression by the Zionist regime.”

According to Fars News Agency, here are the main statements by Vaezi:

  • Since the start of the nuclear sanctions relief negotiations between Iran and the US, Israel has actively sought to sabotage the talks, and with the recent attack, they have made the fate of the negotiations—scheduled for Sunday—uncertain.

  • Iran has always preferred peaceful and diplomatic methods over war and destruction and fundamentally believes in them.

  • The world knows that Iran has not pursued conquest or war with other countries for more than 200 years and has only engaged in legitimate defensive and deterrent actions against foreign aggression.

  • The honorable operations of Iran’s brave armed forces are completely legal, legitimate, and aimed at preserving the territorial integrity and airspace of the homeland.

  • Israel thought that by assassinating some of our military commanders or nuclear scientists, they could stop Iran’s peaceful nuclear and military capabilities, but they were gravely mistaken.

  • Iran, with its civilization and scientific and military breadth, has many elite and competent scientists and commanders who will continue the path of progress and justice with doubled motivation.

  • Another enemy goal was to exploit some economic discontent and create unrest in the country, but today we witness unprecedented unity among all segments of society.

  • From political parties of various factions to artists, athletes, workers, and merchants, everyone has come forward.

  • The “Promise of the Truth 3” operation demonstrated that the defensive capability of the Zionist regime is limited and that the invulnerability of the skies over the occupied lands was a myth.

  • Iran precisely targeted its objectives and, while delivering deterrent strikes to sensitive military, security, and infrastructural sites, severely disrupted the occupiers’ logistics chain and instilled unprecedented fear in the hearts of the Zionist devil.

  • Israel sought to divert public opinion from the crimes in Gaza, but not only did it fail, it also provoked a wave of regional and international condemnations alongside Gaza’s atrocities.

  • Netanyahu’s only goal in starting a direct war with Iran is to escape internal pressures and maintain his position as prime minister.

  • Netanyahu, by fully implementing Machiavellian tactics, clings to every dangerous lever to keep his power; world leaders must beware of such a devil lest his expansionism and power madness ignite another fire and lead to a third world war.

  • At this critical juncture, the focus of all institutions, policymakers, and media must be on the main enemy, the Zionist regime.

  • Some efforts to divert military objectives towards other countries’ interests or side issues can distract and distance us from the real front and main goal.

  • Now is the time to strengthen diverse unity, national cohesion, and uphold the principle of “moderation” in all fields to fully punish our number one enemy, the Zionist regime.
