President of the Iranian Sleep Association: Do Not Drive During These Hours.

According to the social service of Saed News, Dr. Sadegh Niyat discussed drowsiness while driving:

The primary cause of drowsiness while driving is a lack of sleep for an extended period. If we don't sleep for 17-18 hours, we will definitely feel extremely drowsy and need rest. However, more important and stronger than this factor is our body's internal clock. We have certain times in our bodies that tell us it's time to sleep. Thus, we have two periods of drowsiness: the first and strongest starts from around 11-12 PM and peaks at 1-2 AM. The second period, which is weaker, is from 1 to 4 PM.

He added: If someone is with us, talking to us and paying attention to our state, they can help by noticing the signs of drowsiness and preventing us from ignoring our sleepiness.
