According to Syrian sources, multiple ambulances rushed to the outskirts of Damascus to evacuate the wounded following Israel’s latest bombardment.

The attacks reportedly targeted key sites, including a base in Latakia, the Air Defense College in Maskanah, a military facility in Palmyra, and installations in Shinshar south of Homs. Witnesses described repeated air raids, with the Palmyra airbase still engulfed in flames hours after the assault, leaving widespread destruction.

Syria’s foreign ministry condemned the strikes, urging the United Nations Security Council to act decisively. “The Israeli attacks are a blatant violation of sovereignty, a direct threat to Syria’s security, and a destabilizing act against the entire region,” the ministry stated, calling on the international community to halt Israel’s repeated aggression.

These overnight raids highlight rising tensions in the region and raise urgent questions about the path to stability in Syria.
