SAEDNEWS: Video from a KnokX Pro show appears to show Raja Jackson — son of former UFC champion Quinton “Rampage” Jackson — repeatedly striking pro wrestler Stuart “Syko Stu” Smith while Smith lay motionless; family says Smith is conscious but faces a difficult recovery.
According to SaedNews, video circulating from a KnokX Pro event in Sun Valley, California appears to show Raja Jackson slide into the ring, throw wrestler Stuart Smith (ring name Syko Stu) to the mat and then repeatedly strike him while the wrestler was motionless. The footage—widely shared on social platforms—prompted an LAPD inquiry.
Smith’s brother has posted that Stuart “is currently conscious and able to talk” but sustained severe head injuries and faces a long, difficult recovery. The family says the attention has been overwhelming and they appreciate the messages of support.
A GoFundMe organized by Smith’s wife, Contessa Patterson, was launched to cover medical costs and lost income and has attracted significant donations from fans and figures in the wrestling community. Several public figures have signalled support while debate grows online over safety at independent events.
Quinton “Rampage” Jackson publicly condemned the attack and said he did not condone his son’s actions, while organisers of the show described the sequence as a planned “spot” that turned into a reprehensible, unscripted act. Local promoters and the event organiser have apologised to patrons.
