SAEDNEWS: The future administration of Donald Trump is considering introducing an "AI Minister" in the White House. This position, known as the "AI Officer," will be responsible for coordinating AI regulations and usage within the government.
According to SaedNews, the future Trump administration plans to introduce an "AI Minister" to coordinate and oversee AI regulations.
Quoting Fars News via TechCrunch, the Trump administration is thinking of introducing an "AI Minister" in the White House.
This position, referred to as the "AI Officer," will coordinate the regulations and usage of AI within the government.
One advantage of this role is that it does not require Senate approval, allowing for quicker execution of government tasks.
The new position might be combined with the "Digital Currency Minister" role that the administration is currently considering, complementing initiatives started under President Biden's executive orders.
Trump could also decide to eliminate these new positions and offices, opting for a more centralized approach. Although no name has been proposed for this position yet, Elon Musk and Vivek Ramaswamy, both involved with the NGO "Doge," will significantly influence the selection of this "AI Minister."
