Russia Warns NATO: Ukraine's Use of Long-Range Weapons Could Lead to Direct Conflict

According to SAEDNEWS, Russia's representative to the United Nations, Vasily Nebenzya, has issued a strong warning regarding Ukraine's use of long-range weapons. He stated that if NATO countries allow Ukraine to launch attacks deep into Russian territory, it would signify a direct war between NATO and Russia.

Nebenzya made these comments during a meeting at the UN Security Council discussing the situation in Ukraine. He explained that if NATO decides to remove restrictions on Ukraine's use of these weapons, it would mean that NATO countries are actively waging war on Russia. He emphasized that Russia would have to respond to this situation, with serious consequences for Western nations involved.

Recent reports from The Daily Telegraph indicate that UK Prime Minister Keir Starmer and US President Joe Biden might discuss the matter of allowing Ukraine to use British long-range Storm Shadow missiles in their upcoming meeting in Washington.

Russian President Vladimir Putin has also commented, saying that Ukraine cannot effectively strike deep into Russia without assistance from the West. He noted that Ukraine relies on satellite intelligence and flight plans provided by its Western allies.

Putin further stated that NATO countries are not just considering Ukraine's use of long-range weapons; they are essentially deciding on their level of involvement in the conflict. He assured that Russia would make necessary decisions based on any threats posed to its security.
