Iran and Qatar Sign Agreement to Develop Bandar-e Dayyer

According to SAEDNEWS, Iran and Qatar signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) to develop Bandar-e Dayyer, a significant port on Iran's southern coastline.

The agreement was finalized during a joint meeting between the Ports and Maritime Organization of Iran and Mwani Qatar. This meeting took place on Friday and concluded with a video conference signing.

The MoU was signed by Teymour Bashir Gonbadi, the Head of the International Agreements Office at Iran's Ports and Maritime Organization, and Jabor Al-Sulaiti, the Head of Commercial Affairs at Mwani Qatar.

The governor of Bushehr province highlighted the importance of this partnership, pointing out the close geographical location of Bandar-e Dayyer to Al Ruwais port in Qatar. He noted that both sides are eager to enhance economic relations in the region, benefiting from existing economic interactions between Bushehr province and Qatar.
