SAEDNEWS: Iran’s embassy in Denmark blasted Kristeligt Dagblad newspaper for praising strikes on Iranian nuclear sites, calling it a dangerous glorification of aggression and disregard for the law.
The Iranian Embassy in Denmark has officially expressed outrage over a recent editorial by the Danish newspaper Kristeligt Dagblad, which described an illegal military strike on Iran’s nuclear facilities as a “great achievement.”
In a formal letter to the newspaper’s editors, the embassy denounced the editorial as a “dangerous and irresponsible glorification of criminal aggression,” highlighting its blatant disregard for international law and the safety of civilians.
The embassy, expressed shock, anger, and disbelief over the portrayal of the strike as a triumph for U.S. President Donald Trump. It condemned the September 5, 2025, editorial for framing a military attack on protected nuclear infrastructure as a success—a characterization it called a catastrophic misrepresentation.
The letter outlined three critical points: First, Iran, as a committed member of the Treaty on the Non-Proliferation of Nuclear Weapons (NPT), has consistently pursued peaceful nuclear activities under strict supervision by the International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA), with no evidence of weaponization. Second, the recent military action was a unilateral and aggressive violation of the United Nations Charter and core principles of international law. Third, legitimizing such an act, particularly by Trump, represents a “cowardly immorality,” as the attack was conducted remotely, endangering countless civilians.
The Iranian diplomatic mission urged Kristeligt Dagblad to issue a formal apology and to present Iran’s perspective prominently, emphasizing the importance of journalistic integrity and fairness.
