20 mushrooms

3 to 4 cups of white flour

2 cups of ice

1 cup of water

Spices: 2 teaspoons of salt, 1 teaspoon of turmeric, 1 teaspoon of paprika, 2 teaspoons of thyme, 1 teaspoon of garlic powder

How to make fried mushrooms without yogurt

To make restaurant-style fried mushrooms, you should use firm white mushrooms. Clean the mushrooms with your hands and use a sharp knife to peel the skin off. Place the mushrooms on a cotton cloth to absorb the excess moisture. Sift the flour and place it in a bowl, then add the spices and salt. Set the bowl aside. In another bowl, add ice and water, and wait until the water becomes completely cold.

Dip the dried mushrooms into the flour mixture, then place them in the ice, repeating the process a few times until a thick layer forms around the mushrooms. Afterward, gently massage the mushrooms with your hands to create a flaky texture on the surface. Heat oil in a pot until it's very hot, then add the mushrooms to the hot oil. Let them fry for 15 minutes until golden and crispy. Remove the mushrooms and place them on an oil-absorbing paper to drain the excess oil. Finally, enjoy with your favorite dipping sauce.
