All you need is a bit of creativity and the combination of different ingredients to prepare your favorite snack. 1 can of tuna
100 grams of mushrooms
1 package of toast bread
1 bunch of cilantro
1 heaping tablespoon of cream cheese
1 clove of garlic
3 pickles
1.5 tablespoons of mayonnaise
1 small red onion
Sliced cheese, as needed
Chips, optional
Salt, black pepper, paprika, thyme, as needed
First, in the first step, you should boil the tuna in a pot for 20 minutes. Be sure not to skip this step, as boiling the tuna will kill any harmful bacteria, allowing you to enjoy it safely. After boiling, discard the water and oil from the tuna.
Peel the mushrooms, remove the skin with the help of a sharp knife, and slice them. Heat a little oil in a pan, then sauté the sliced mushrooms with the mentioned spices. Afterward, add the tuna and stir until the mixture is well combined. Finally, peel and grate the garlic and cream cheese, then add them to the mixture and remove from the heat.
To make the sauce, place the mayonnaise in a bowl and add the grated red onion and pickles. Stir well and, at the end, add the chopped cilantro, mixing again. You can also use a blender or mixer to blend the sauce ingredients.
Take the toast bread out of the package, spread some sauce on one side, then add some of the tuna mixture, a slice of cheese, and a little crushed chips. Place another slice of toast on top and grill it in a pan until the bread becomes crispy. Alternatively, you can use a sandwich maker to prepare the dish. Enjoy your meal!
You can omit the garlic.
You can skip the sliced cheese or chips and just toast the sandwich.
If you don’t drain the tuna oil, your sandwich will be greasy.
