Ingredients

Small quince: 3 pieces

Pomegranate juice: 1 cup

Sugar: 1/2 cup

Cold water: 2 cups

Cardamom: 3 pods

Starch: 1 teaspoon

Instructions

To make this delicious quince dessert, start by peeling the quince and cutting them into two equal halves. Remove the seeds and the core with a knife.

Place the quince peels at the bottom of a non-stick pan, then arrange the quince halves on top of the peels.

Add the quince seeds and cardamom pods to the pan.

Pour the sugar and pomegranate juice over the quince.

Dissolve the starch in cold water and add it to the pan.

Cover the pan and reduce the heat to low. Let the quince cook for 35 to 40 minutes until they are tender and the dessert syrup thickens.
